As a P2P Fundraiser, you'll log in through GiveGab.com where you'll find the link created for your fundraising page in your Fundraising Dashboard. You can learn more about logging into your Fundraising Dashboard and customizing your P2P fundraising page by clicking here.
How do I get the word out?
To get the word out about Save A Place for Birds before and during #GivingTuesday, you'll want to communicate with your contacts through email messages, social media posts, and word of mouth. Text messages can be also be a particularly effective way of spreading the word! Check out the communication guides below for ideas of what to post and when!
What am I Responsible for?
- As a Fundraiser, you're responsible for getting the word out about ABC's Save A Place For Birds campaign leading up to and during #GivingTuesday (end at midnight on November 30th)!
- ABC has a goal of generating $100,000 by midnight on November 30th and you are responsible for helping us reach this goal! You should set an individual goal for your fundraiser to let your friends and family know what you are hoping to help achieve. It's common to set a goal that starts lower and to raise it as it is met throughout the campaign. Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about goals.
- Most importantly, you are responsible for having fun with your fundraising efforts and working to share enthusiasm and support for ABC and our mission to conserve wild birds and their habitats. Remember: the theme for the day is Save A Place For Birds, so try to tie in as much about "YOUR place for birds" as you can while you're encouraging your network to participate. These small gestures tied to the campaign theme can go a long way for ABC's fundraising efforts!
